The Höga Kusten trail starts on Hornöberget at the northern end of the Höga Kusten Bridge. Here you can park your car for free during your hike. With the option to fill up with water at the start.

The Höga Kusten trail runs under the Höga Kusten Bridge, follows the old coastal road from Hornöberget to Nyadal. Via the Lövvik bridge, it then goes over the Svartnorasundet to Svartnoranäset and further over a couple of peaks before the stage finish in Lövvik.

At the southern part of the Höga Kusten leden is the mountain Valkallen with a lovely view of the outlet of the Ångermanälven and the sea.
